Seven ex-street boys sat for their KCPE [kenya certificate primary education] last year, they past and they have been called to go to different secondary schools.

With the help of two volunteers, one of the boys has already reported to a secondary school. The volunteers will pay for the school fees of these boys but the other three boys who are to report to secondary schools next week, we lack school fees for one of them who is very much willing to go to school.

Any body who might be willing to pay for them is welcome to do so. Thank you for those two volunteers who are still with us, one of the is back to USA now. We are very happy for the four boys who will be sitting for their KCPE this year. Two have been promised sponsorship and two not yet. It is only through education that we can give this children better lives and future. I hope you will agree with me.

Thank you
Sister Annet

The fact that these boys were living on the streets with no hope and nothing in their life and now they have made it through to secondary school, it’s only wonderful. These boys one day should be very proud for themselves. It must be so hard for them the transition. Congrats to the four boys and I wish them all the best.

i am from Mombasa, Kenya and this is a very wonderful exersise that is being done coz its sacrificing for others which is not really easy to come by so if everybody in one way or another do what sister annet is doing i think the world would be a better place to live in and for our great grandchildren to be.

I’m an ex volunteer, visited the center jan the 8th.Great life experience! The news that I just read from sister Anet are simply amazing!!although these kids have had many difficulties throughout their young life, yet they have the strength to carry on and the will to be educated and have a better future. You are going as a volunteer to teach them as much as you can, but at the end they teach you more, about yourself, life, appreciation.
Well done to all 4 boys for their achievements, they set the example for all the rest.
