Running the 'Great North Run' 13.1miles on the 19th of September to help the street children in Kenya

The Great Noth Run is the world's largest half martathon with over 50,000 runners. Congratulations to Donna Hussey who took part this year in aid of street children in Kenya and came 8,623 in a finish time 1:55mins! Well done from all of us!

Donna is raising money for Grandsons of Abraham Rescue Centre

The goal of Grandsons of Abraham is to reduce the number of street children on the streets of Mombasa through daily street work. Its aim is to create an environment of growth through counseling, informal education and human needs.

Hello I am Donna

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Last summer I volunteered at Grandsons of Abraham and when I returned I entered the 'Great North Run' to raise money to send the street boys to school.
WHY?
Because I have never met such a lovely, welcoming group of boys so eager and dedicated to their studies, with ambition to become doctors, teachers etc. Also, to give them an opportunity to make a better life for themselves.
Any donations appreciated
My next door neighbours grandchildren raided their piggy banks so they could sponsor me £1.00 each. So please help me, to help them.
