Jamaica

Name: Jamaica
Age: 14

My name is Jamaica. I was a street boy when Grandsons of Abraham Rescue Centre rescued me.

I went to the street because my parents kicked me away from the family so I decided to go to the street at look for at least something to put in my stomach. I saw children on the street begging for money so that they can get money to get food, and me, I decided to join the group of begging so I can take care of myself.

When Grandsons of Abraham rescued me from the street they put me in the school there. Now I am hoping to continue with my studies up to university and my aim is to reach the Sun. I would like to be an engineer so tomorrow I can repair a ship.

Sponsoring a child

Consider sponsoring a boy through secondary school. Secondary education in Kenya lasts for a maximum of 4 years and for a total cost of between just £25 to £40 per month (different school fees vary) you could pay for the keep and education of a boy, making an unbelieveable difference to his life. Alternatively, you can sponsor a child to pay for the clothes and food at any amount you would like.

Updates from the sponsored child will be sent directly from Kenya. Donors may also visit the rescue center to see the difference their gifts are making to the children..
